Little Maya’s parents met with me just a few weeks ago for a maternity session. Take a peek HERE at her still in her momma’s belly. Little did they know at that time that she was going to make a surprise appearance a few weeks earlier than expected. Luckily, she was born just as healthy as could be. Maya was absolutely perfect for her first photography session and gave us plenty of great smiles. Here is a quick sneak peek from our session. Congrats mom and dad! She is precious!
I photographed this little cutie when she was just a newborn. She’s all grown up and just celebrated her very first birthday. We met at Mayfield Park for our session. Mayfield is known for their beautiful gardens and peacocks that roam freely around the grounds. The peacocks are usually very tame and stay out of your way. We had just sat little Ava down on the ground when this beautiful peacock decided he wanted to be in the photograph too and started walking towards us. I quickly snapped this photo below…
The next thing we new the peacock was charging toward poor Ava. Luckily, mom stepped in just in time and scared the bird away. Little Ava didn’t even know the big mean bird was behind her, but it sure gave us a fright. Not sure what was going on with Mr. Grumpy Pants peacock that day, but he sure didn’t like little Ava stealing all of the attention for him. I think he was just a wee bit jealous! We managed to get through the rest of the session without anymore incidents. Here are a few more adorable (and peacock free) pictures from the session…

This is my sweet niece Danielle who is graduating from high school this year. She is going to be a heading to Oklahoma University very soon to start her college career. I can’t believe she is all grown up as it seems like just yesterday I was babysitting her while I was in college. We took these gorgeous photos her ranch at Horseshoe Bay and the country club which had so many great spots for photos. Such a natural in front of the camera and so much fun to photograph! Thanks Danielle for a great time and I promise one day I’ll forgive you for going to OU!

You might remember THIS maternity session from not that long ago. Mom was just a few days from her delivery date when we did her maternity session. Just about a week later this sweet little one arrived…welcome Baby Lucca! He was 5 days old when these were taken and was absolutely as perfect as could be. He slept great through the whole session and was a wonderful little model. You will be seeing more of him as he grows since he has enrolled in my baby plan. Can’t wait to watch him grow up. Congratulations Mom & Dad. He’s a cutie!

I met with the Richardson family at one of my favorite Austin parks. The weather was absolutely perfect for photos and a walk in the park. They brought their sweet pet Lucky to join us for the session. He was very good and posed so well for the camera! Thanks for a great session and enjoy the sneak peek!
